Protac SF® is a broad spectrum physical action product targeting a wide range of insects and pests.
Protac SF® action is based on the cross linking of silicon based macromolecules that form a sticky net covering and rapidly eliminating the pest.
Protac SF® is perfectly suited as a correction measure in any integrated Pest Management programmes. It is a low risk product.

Whitefly

Psylla pyri damages pear trees by sucking sap of leaves and damaging flowers and fruit.
How should Protac SF® be applied?
Protac SF® is a physical action product that works well if target insects are well covered. Apply the product evenly on all plant parts until run off. Also apply under the leaf surface and in difficult to reach areas.
Special attention should be given to dense crops to immobilize the maximum number of adults possible.
Protac SF® does not work on eggs. Consider repeated applications to tackle newly hatched individuals.
For best efficacy follow the recommended concentrations for your crop.

Application recommendations
- Avoid application during low light and high humidity (avoid early mornings/evenings)
- Make sure humidity is below 65%
- Pick a sunny day for fast drying – at least 6 rain free hours after application
- The faster the product dries the better its efficiency
- Phytotoxicity might occur if the product does not dry fast
- To avoid foaming first apply water to the tank and then add Protac SF®
3D-IPNS explained
Protac SF® contains long chain silicon macromolecules and crosslinking agents that are connected to form a microscopic sticky net which immobilizes the pest leading to fast death.
The action of Protac SF® is based on a patented technology called 3D-IPNS. It is therefore the only product using this technology.

Protac SF® contains silicate polymers and crosslinking agents which are combined to form a 3D net structure capturing the insect.
Other products containing silicate polymers or siloxanes do not show the same velocity and efficiency due to the lack of crosslinking agents.
